PBN Virtual Book Club - The Deep by Rivers Solomon

IndieNext List describes The Deep with the following: Octavia E. Butler meets Marvel’s Black Panther in The Deep, a story rich with Afrofuturism, folklore, and the power of memory.  And we couldn't agree more. This title even comes with a soundtrack to read it to! Not an easy read, despite it's brief length, this book will be one readers think about over and over again. The main character, Yetu, is unforgettable.
